What the game stores

Your progress (sites scanned, puzzles solved, verdicts and lens choice) is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Advertising

Ancient Signal is free and paid for by ads. Ads are provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure them, and, where you agree, to personalise them. If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are used, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in the consent message.

How Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.

Fonts

Text fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Your rights
